Alas, I have seriously gotten out of blogging. But I am going to start back up again! ...just not with Blogger anymore. Kevin and I have purchased my very own domain name, and he's working on a layout for me to start blogging! I'll be deleting all my blogs shortly, but please feel free to go to my new blog. BRITISH INVASION WEEK

I have pictures this week! I didn't decide to start taking pictures until Chris, and none of his were good...but the rest I got some good ones! So yay! Maybe I'll do that every week...take pictures of the tv, haha.


Haley - "Something About Love" - It seems to lack something, and every time she moves, she drifts off. I didn't like it. Seems I'm the Simon tonight after hearing Randy and Paula's comments.

Chris R. - "Don't Let the Sun Catch You Crying" - I liked how they opened it. The lights were very right for the mood. It was very mellow. I thought it was alright, I don't really have much of an opinion about it.

Stephanie - "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me" - (long song titles tonight) I think she could sing this better, but I still think it is really good. The blue dress looks really good on her!

Blake - "Time of the Season" - very groovy lights. eek, a note a little off and makes you cringe. Those upper notes...seems a little weird. Go beat-boxing! Haha, i liked the little thing at the end there. :-P He's fun. Simon, "A million times better than last week!" He did make it more modern without changing it too much. HAHAHA, Ryan sang. :-P

Lakisha - "Diamonds are Forever" - She looks so pretty! :-) That was MARVELOUS! She's so fantastic! She's so wonderful! YAY!!! Shut up Simon! She was great! Not too old!!! :-D

Phil - "Tobacco Road" - That was really good. It was really fun, and he really gave a lot of energy for it. It was great! Yay! "Third Division Bar Band performance" - Simon...what's that? haha

Jordin - "I Who Have Nothing" - Very dramatic beginning. She's so pretty! I love the straightened hair! She's great! I really liked that! It was very pretty song. YAY!

Gina - "Paint It Black" - SHE IS AWESOME!!! I loved it! She's so fabulous!!! I love all the people with red in their hair supporting her. Her new hair cut is cute! Simon...torture? NO WAY! Simon is not right this time man. That was great!!! (but i hate her shirt...)

Chris S. - "She's Not There" - Niiice...start in the crowd! Hahaha "Bringing Chubby Back" :-P GO CHRIS!!!! YAY! GO Chris! He's fantastic! :-)

Brandon - "You Can't Hurry Love" - Forgot his words? Had a little squeak? Um...no, this is where you bring your game...he left it in his dressing room.

Melinda - "Home" She rocked it. She was wonderful! She could wear sweats and sing, she'd still be so wonderful and everyone would vote for her! I know dresses and high heels can be such a pain.

Chris S. - "Endless Love" - As much as I love him...I did not like that version of the song. The singing was good...the song is really great...the version...SUCKED!!! And it did sound a lot like Coldplay's "Speed."

Gina - "Love Child" - I didn't like her necklace...it's too big! Yuck. And she needs to lose the tongue ring. I hate those things. Aaaand...her make-up is a little weird. But she sang the song great! I really liked it.

Sanjaya - "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" - What's with the earrings? And is he trying to look like Chris Sligh?! He is just so lacking. He lacks everything good. Go Randy!!!! "Thank goodness for the background singers!" Paula...who cares if he is sweet? HE CAN'T SING WELL ENOUGH FOR AMERICAN IDOL! How the heck did he get this far?! Hahaha, Simon's comment, "You're very brave..." VOTE HIM OFF!!!! as in...don't vote for him thanks!

Haley - "Missing You" - She kinda has that Katharine McPhee look tonight. Ew....what's with that dress though?! That ribbon looks really messed up. I'm not really liking this song. She is really pretty, but I don't like her performance...it was boring. Simon's response is surprising! He liked it? She messed up her words? I didn't even notice...shhh!!! Don't confess that!

Phil - "I'm Going To Make You Love Me" - I wonder what he looks like with hair now. Some of those notes it looked like he was going to eat me! It was alright though, I thought. It was fun. Seems the judges didn't think it was that fun. Haha, Simon will say anything that doesn't agree with Paula.

Lakisha - "God Bless the Child" - KiKi! She's a true performer at heart. You can just see it in her, she belongs on the stage. I thought it was really good. Randy, "Unbelievable vocal...that was sensational." Yeah she is!!!!!! Simon, "Performed like a star, outstanding." She is a star! Go Lakisha!!!!!!!!! She's great. Yay Kiki!

Blake - "You Keep Me Hanging On" - Haha, fun lights!!!!!!!!! It was alright. I didn't love it...But the lights were so fun. Hehe. :-P I agree with Simon, he didn't sound as good as he has in the past, but he'll be back and fabulous again! :-)

Stephanie - "Love Hangover" - Interesting dress...I don't know. The big notes seemed a little off. I didn't like it. I'm not sure about it. She forgot the words too? I couldn't tell with her either.

Chris R. - "The Boss" - Stop moving your head so much Chris!!! The background reminds me of St. Patty's Day! Which is fitting, because that is Saturday. But...it's just awful. When will it end? No no no. Sorry, Chris, didn't get my vote tonight.

Jordin - "If We Hold On Together" - I love her dress. She looks so pretty. She is singing it really well. Go Jordin! Though, one note was a little iffy...eek! But I thought it was good! Slightly boring, but good! Careful her dress doesn't blow up! Wow, a three girl race!

*note -- The sound guys sucked tonight...I vote them off!*

Overall - the girls brought it, and the guys...not so much. I think, and hope, it is Sanjaya going home tomorrow night! Top votes...Lakisha wins this one, and Melinda and Jordin close behind!

SPRING BREAK!

So...this years Spring Break won't take us anywhere exciting...as we are staying home, but I'm sure it will be fun nonetheless! Last year was a blast up in DC, we saw so much stuff, and I enjoyed spending so much time with Kevin. This year going somewhere just never got off its feet...we thought about a lot of places, but in the end, we are horrible at saving money. Haha. So...we're home, and it's okay. Because we get to work a lot, and get a lot of money for it, and then do whatever we want around here with all the students gone! It's a nice break, and we'll definately do something fun this summer anyway. We've got two more months of classes, then it's SUMMER! Dawn's wedding is coming up in May, and I'm sure that will be a blast! I really can't wait. She found her wedding dress, and our bridesmaids dresses, so it'll be fun to see those.

I was bored and decided to ramble, but i should probably get some work done, haha. I'm sure I will come back and ramble some more!

This is my kitty. She's sooo cute. But she can get rather annoying because she wants attention CONSTANTLY...especially when i want to go to sleep or need to get ready. Haha. She'll weave between your feet like a soccer ball, but she's loads of fun. haha. :-)

This past weekend my dad put together a cat playground that my mom got for my cats off of ebay. My grandma also sent me a quilt she made for my bed! Here are pictures! :-)

Fun Night at PKs

PK's, a local pizza place and bar, has "Flippin' Thursday Night"...where when you order pizza's, you flip a coin (well, a manager flips a coin) to see if you get them for free or not. We got both of our pizza's free tonight! :-) Last time we went, we got all of them for free too. I think there was three or four.

Kevin has really been wanting the ipod shuffle I got for Christmas from my great aunt. So...they then come out with ipod shuffles in color! And I definately want a pink one. So Kevin gave me $20 for mine, and I am going to get a pink one! YAY! :-)

AMERICAN IDOL IS BACK!

I do intend to do what i did last year and say what i think of everyone. But that won't be until the finalists are through, because I don't want to talk about TOO many people. But if I do want to comment about some, maybe I will.

*Family Guy* Monopoly

A whole day of fun...and it's not over yet.

We decided to leave it last night, and get back to it tonight. That's three hours of work right there. Kevin has hotels on the first row, and half of the second. I have hotels on the orange, and houses on the rest of that half of the board. Kevin is slowly building up houses on the two blue places. *AH* The last time we played, I had a hotel on the blue ones, and that pretty much did him in. The hotels along his haven't hurt me too much, but it prevents me from spending money to build more houses on mine, so I am insured that I have money for when I land on is 100,000 hotels. Haha. You'd think I'd have the advantage with the more expensive side of the board (excluding the blues though), but since the houses cost more on that side and he already has hotels...it's harder!

Anyway. I just felt like talking about it. Anyone know good strategy so I can beat Kevin tonight?! Haha
