DC Adventure: Day 3

Well...our last and final day started out a bit disappointing. We got up for breakfast and ate it here. We went out to the metro, and it took three times as long to get there because of a lot of traffic headed toward Springfield. Then we went to Washington Monument, but they were already out of tickets. We went to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing but they were sold out of tickets too. We continued on our walk that way to go to Jefferson Memorial. We saw the cherry blossoms, but they wern't really in bloom yet. They are suppose to be in full bloom Monday. We walked around the water to the FDR Memorial. I really liked it the last time we were there, but the water wasn't running. That was sad. The time we were there it was night, and really pretty. And quite romantic I have to admit. Too bad we were only 13. We didn't appreciate it. We were tired of walking and were hungry, so we got food to eat. Very expensive. Then we headed over to the Air and Space Museum and saw "Infinity Express" in the planetarium and "Roving Mars" at the IMAX theater. They were neat. Then we went home. We were tired. We wanted to go to Tyson's but there just wasn't any time. Maybe we'll go tomorrow. But tomorrow is sleeping. Hehe.
